Choreographic Commissions
Spring 2009:
New premiere for the Dance Department at California State University, Long Beach at the Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts.
November, 2008:
New premiere for the Dance Department at California State University, Long Beach, November 12-15 at the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theatre. This work will be a collaboration with composer, Rychard Cooper and visual artist, Chris Martin (most recently Production Assistant for David Michalek's Slow Dancing installation).
Newly commissioned work for a collaboration between the New West Symphony and the Ventura Ballet, Beethoven's

Invited to present "Study for Common Ground" at SOLA, directed by Regina Klenjoski. This will be the inaugral performance of Lorin Johnson's new company, So Cal Ballet Lab, and will be at the James Armstrong Theatre, Torrance, November 8 at 8pm.

- Announcing the launch of Lorin Johnson's new company, So Cal Ballet Lab. The inaugral performance of the company will take place at the SOLA dance festival on November 8 (see above), in which So Cal Ballet Lab will present Johnson's "Study for Common Ground."
